Staffing Analyses

Whether you are considering staffing levels in transportation, maintenance or an administrative department, Adams has the experience and know how to help define and quantify the needs.  We will typically build up to an exact driver requirement based on run cuts, historical unscheduled absenteeism, vacations, other scheduled absentees and extra board sizing.  Utilizing historical turnover we can recommend driver training class frequency and size to maintain a complement of drivers necessary to minimize overtime.  In maintenance we can quantify all tasks in the area of maintenance and based on projected shop productivity we can develop actual staffing requirements.
